The Side Effects of Under Exposure

The Side Effects of Under Exposure

Mistakes like under exposure can be caused by the exposure unit or tool and the careless person who didn't adequately expose the artwork properly. The obvious side-effect of under exposure is that it can cause the paint or the ink used in the artwork or design to wash away as the person rinses it after drying and hardening it. Making the artwork washable is the primary reason people dry the artwork. The photons present in the light make it possible for the artwork paints to become dry and hard.

There are two known causes for under exposure. One is that the exposure isn't long enough to burn the artwork properly. It can be compared to an under-baked cake that is taken from the oven even though it's not ready yet. The second cause for under exposure is that the UV radiation power of the exposing tool is not good enough to cater to the need of exposing artwork.

At first, the cost of under exposure is not yet visible since people take for granted the idea that under exposure really happens once in a while. There is no way to prevent this from happening. When the person counts his losses from under exposure, he will soon realize that those everyday mistakes cost him a lot of money, which he could have used for other areas of his business. Another side effect of under exposure is that it can lead to the breakage of stencil at the printing process. This will then affect the production and work of the laborers and the owner. The screen with underexposed quality will no longer be safe to use again.

Although under exposure is a growing major threat in the printing industry, it could be prevented by paying attention to drying up screen. If ever the artwork is underexposed due to insufficient period of exposure, a person should try to expose it again under the right amount of time. Through these simple precautions, big bucks could be saved from unwanted under exposure.
