Air Drying T-shirts in Tunnel Dryers

Air Drying T-shirts in Tunnel Dryers

Perhaps, one of the most profitable products from screen printing are T-shirts. Actually, T-shirts are the most widely known item that makes use of screen printing. Although screen printing can be used in several other materials like glass, plastic, and even metal, T-shirts remain the major screenprinting product. Most of the T-shirts that are sold on the market have prints on them, which prove that there is a booming business in screen printing garments and clothes.

Before the advent of tunnel dryers, drying freshly printed T-shirts is an extensive task. This is a definite disadvantage especially when T-shirt printing businesses are required to produce hundreds of prints per day. There is no way manufacturers can produce large numbers of printed T-shirts every day with the old-fashioned way of drying them. With the invention of tunnel dryers, drying garments and clothes has become a relatively easier task.

A tunnel dryer is basically a drying equipment used for drying huge quantities of printed T-shirts. A tunnel dryer has a conveyor belt where T-shirts and other garments pass through a heater that dries the prints. When buying tunnel dryers, you should take note of the quantity of garments and the results that you expect to see. For instance, a tunnel dryer, measuring 6 feet to 8 feet long, can usually dry eight to twelve dozens of printed T-shirts. There are some tunnel dryers that have air-dry features which are best suited for garments that have air-dry inks.
