A Comparison Between Automatic and Manual Printers

More and more people are finding ways to make their work easier. Like in garment printing, working means an every-minute push of a hand. Stress is caused by too much work, thus, a person needs to relax from time to time. Too much stress can cause a person to be burned out. But, how could the person relax if his work is just too demanding?

The answer is the automatic printer. Apart from its speed, which results in increased volume production, an automatic printer is more hassle-free in terms of operating mechanically than printing manually. An automatic printer makes the job more dependable since it is done by the machine itself. Meaning, every product's need is well calculated by the machine, giving it sufficient production quality. The manual printer, on the other hand, needs human hands for the aligning, bordering, and shimming of the garment. The individual also needs to strictly man the process of printing to assure quality.

An automatic printer functions through the machine. It has its own fabric finishing portion that operates in a speed of 90 m/h. Its basic functions are to steam, to wash, to finish, to dry, and to roll the garment or fabric when it is finally done. It gives more compact printing result than the manual printing. On the other hand, manual printing needs human hands to do the entire process. The steps in manual printing are the following: flatten the garment on a board; shim the inside of the garment to avoid spilling the paint; prepare the silk screen and put it atop the garment where the design is to be printed; apply the paint on the screen; press the paint while brushing it in a single direction; slowly take the screen off the garment; and lastly, dry the paint on the garment with a blow dryer or any other dryer.

Don't forget to take note of some reminders on manual printing like choosing the appropriate squeegee for the silk screen size and careful engraving of design on the screen before a person can transfer it on the garment.
